Scrabble words vs. Words With Friends
Words With Friends and Scrabble look similar but use different dictionaries and different tile values. WWF accepts a number of informal words and some acronyms that Scrabble rejects, while Scrabble's tournament lists (TWL, SOWPODS) contain obscure words WWF omits. Tile points also differ — for example letters are weighted differently between the two games.
How to use the finder for WWF
- Rack: type your tiles; use
?for a blank. - Starts with / Ends with: hook onto a tile already on the board.
- Pattern: use
_for gaps to fit a tight space.
